Denfeld’s latest novel has been described as “a glittering gem, part mystery, part fairy tale, all white knuckle, edge of your seat thriller,” by the acclaimed Library Journal. Come learn how she—and you—can turn any story into a page turner.

You will learn tips and tools for creating a fast-moving, propulsive plot.

The Childfinder received a starred Library Journal review and glowing reviews from major press, Publisher’s Weekly to the New York Times Book Review. An Indie Next pick, the book landed as  the #1 fiction bestseller at Powell’s within its first week, and became a top #10 bestseller in Canada and a bestseller in the United States.

Her first novel, The Enchanted, is the winner of numerous honors, including the prestigious French Prix Award, an ALA Medal for Excellence in Fiction, a Carnegie listing, and a listing for Dublin International Award. It has been selected for community and campus reads, including All Rochester Reads, and has been adapted to both the London and Edinburgh stage.

“Astonishing” — Margaret Atwood

That evening, Denfeld will share the stage with another award-winning author, Willy Vlautin, as they both read from their latest novels and answer audience questions.
