How are family, friends, neighbors and colleagues dealing with the isolation and worry, while still trying to stay connected?

Visual artists are asked to sketch, draw, paint in any medium or multi-media, or collage whatever they’re feeling, and submit a digital photograph of the finished work. Three-dimensional works created for the occasion are also welcome, as is photography. Writers are invited to submit poetry, essays, and stories, and film makers can send us links to their works on video platforms like Vimeo or YouTube.

Submissions will be posted as they come in, so check back often. Scroll down this page to see the latest.[/vc_column_text][vc_toggle title=”How to Submit”]There are a few requirements for your submissions.  Please read this before submitting.  While we are open to a wide range of art forms and executions, we do reserve the right to decline some pieces. Keep submissions family friendly please!

Art & Photography

  • image file size should be no more than 1MB (check your camera settings before shooting the image).  There are no limitations on the dimensions.
  • File name should be your name and the work’s title:  First_Name Piece_Title.jpg  Note the blank space between Name and Piece.  The file name will be the caption of your work on the web site.
  • One image per submission, but you can submit as many times as you want.

Poetry, Essays, & Stories

  • Submit a PDF of your work (many software programs allow you to “Save as” a pdf; you can also select “Save as PDF” when you click print.)
  • File name should be your name and the work’s title:  First_Name Piece_Title.jpg  Note the blank space between Name and Piece.  The file name will show as the link to your piece on the web site.
  • People will be able to page through your pdf, so there isn’t a limit on the number of words.  However, people are unlikely to dive into novel-length piece online.

Films & Music/Dance Videos

  • Submit a link to your piece on a video platform like Vimeo or YouTube.
  • Include the title.
  • There is no limit to length for videos.
