The April 2021 Potters’ Nook features work by Mary Roberts
This selection of ceramics for the pottery nook includes bud vases, rice bowls, and smallish salad bowls. Hand-made ceramics for gifts (even if for one’s self) – small enough to mail to a loved one, leave on a friend’s porch with a single flower, or enjoy on a window sill.
Like my ceramics shown in the gallery during April, all are inspired by the north Oregon Coast- tawny sand, green-black forest, basalt boulders, bare winter branches, new green leaves, golden sea grass, white spindrift, shifting stormy skies.
My most sincere thanks to the Clay Studio volunteers who continued serving this community during the past year. By hosting drop off/ pick up Wednesdays and kiln firings, they have made all the difference to my being able to make ceramics and maintain my mental health (such as it is.)
