Would you change anything about your life?

If you knew you had only one year to live, would you change anything about your life? Would you take that long-postponed trip to Tahiti? Get married or divorced? Spend your time in quiet reflection or wild abandon?

In his book, “A Year to Live,” Stephen Levine describes his year-long experiment in living one year as if it were his last, and all of the revelations that this attitude brought to him.

In this two-hour session, we’ll do exercises and meditations focused on living life more fully and appreciating the present moment, as well as considering our inevitable deaths. You’ll gain insights and perspective that can add a new dimension to your thinking going forward – no matter your age.

It’s not necessary to have read “A Year to Live” prior to the session. Just bring a notebook and writing instrument.

The group will be facilitated by Deborah Cipolla,  a former journalist and public relations person who has taught both writing and meditation for several years.
