Herringbone Stitch Beaded Necklaces

Students will learn the basics of a beaded herringbone stitch while making a rope necklace. In this class we will use size 11 Toho seed beads, and create patterns using each student’s own color palette. Needles, thread, and a large assortment of beads will be provided. This project will not be completed in class but students will be given enough materials to finish their project at home.

Students are encouraged to bring their own magnifier or loupe as we will be working with tiny seed beads.

Visiting artist Carrie Botto will be joining us at the Hoffman Center for an intensive weekend of weaving, wrapping, and beading from April 10th through the 12th. Please check the classes page for her other offerings.
