Summer Sketchbook

Summer is just around the corner, which means spending time outdoors seeing nature in her most full and verdant time of year. Journal sketching is a beautiful way to capture and celebrate those observations.  In this workshop, we will explore ways to simplify and improve your sketching practice. First, we will experiment with accessible materials and making basic marks in pencil and pen. Next, you will learn to add color and playful design layouts to your pages. And, finally, we will look at how your sketches can be used as springboards to further your development in drawing and painting.
