Please join us at the Hoffman Center for the Arts on Saturday, October 15 as the Manzanita Writers’ Series celebrates our local writing community and introduces the Hoffman’s new executive director, India Downes-Le Guin. We’ll invite writers of all stripes – poetry, fiction and non-fiction – to share their work during the open mic segment of the program. The first seven writers to sign up at the event get the floor for up to four minutes. But first and foremost, this will be an opportunity to build new connections, strengthen old ones and delight in the company of other writers. We’ll gather from 4 to 6 p.m. to share community and conversation – and enjoy hors d’oeuvres and music. The event is free, but please register by Oct. 13 if you are able to attend.
