Hoffman Center for the Arts in Manzanita will screen nine short films
made by young filmmakers worldwide
The films were honored late last year by the Gateway Film Festival
at Pacific University in Forest Grove

The films to be shown are:

Istanbul: Home Away from Home, by Selin Tiryakioglu | Jacksonville, Florida

Double Vida, by Sharlany Gonzalez | Dominican Republic and Maryland

63 Miles Away, by Emman Josephson | Portland, Oregon

Writer’s Block Party, by Gabriella Sipe | Olympia, Washington

The Quiet, by Radheya Jegatheva  | Joondanna, Australia

She, by Felix Koble | Cape Town, South Africa

Beacons of Portland, by David Pascual-Matias | Portland Oregon

Irony, by Radheya Jegatheva | Joondanna, Australia.

The festival was organized and hosted by Pacific University students and Media Arts Department faculty. Professor Jennifer Hardacker, who showed several of her own films at the Hoffman Center in June 2018, will attend the screening to discuss the films.
