Writing can enhance our lives and our relationships. There is power in telling our truth and bearing witness to the stories of others. But stories from life can be overwhelmingly large and unwieldy.  Where do we start?

In this class, we will design a structure to lead us on the path. We will explore our beginnings, our glories, our bodies and lovings, our homes and our valleys of the shadows.

Where do we find the story we have to tell?

Where do we begin?

What do we include and leave out?

Can we trust our faulty memory?

We do not need to know the answers to these questions. We just need to know the next step.

Whether for ourselves, our family or the world, whether beginners or scribes of the stuff of our lives, each of us can learn from each other.  We have stories to tell. We want to leave a trace.  Particularly at this time and in this space, our tales of survival, adaptation, sorrow and joy can connect us  and give us all the strength to go on.
