More Printmaking with Plants

 

This class will review and continue working with the printmaking processes introduced in Jan Branham’s previous workshops at the Hoffman Center. Attendance in one of Jan’s prior workshops is encouraged. This studio time will give students the opportunity to work independently using their printmaking skills to create cards or images suitable for framing. Individual guidance will be provided by the teachers.

All supplies will be provided. Feel free to bring plant material (leaves, weeds, grasses, flowers) in addition to feathers, magazines or books, or other paper material suitable for collage.

 

About Jan

Jan Branham, a part-time Manzanita resident, taught high school art for 35 years, and
after retirement found her voice in printmaking. In March 2023 she had a print show at
the Hoffman Gallery entitled Ansisters and Mancestors. Jan has taught a variety of
classes at the Bainbridge Artisan Resource Network (BARN) on Bainbridge Island in
Washington State, and won a few awards, too.
