Printmaking with Plants

This class will introduce you to the technique of monoprinting using plant material (leaves, weeds, grasses, etc.) as a raw material in the process of creating interesting and compelling printed images.

You will learn how to use a printing press, manage ink, prepare paper, and create prints.

We will be printing on Japanese paper, then using these prints to create a set of greeting cards on pre-made cards (envelopes provided).

This is a beginner friendly, hands-on studio workshop. You do not need to have any drawing skills to achieve success. Simply bring your enthusiasm!
