Vigil of Compassion and Mourning

The coastal community is invited to gather together and hold space for the family lost to the sea this past weekend in Falcon Cove.
Let us open our hearts together to recognize the loss of young lives, to mourn, and to acknowledge, through our compassion, the sorrows of the family and all of us affected by this tragedy.
After a few brief words offered by a memorial celebrant, we will illuminate the darkened room with gentle light, gather in silence, and then raise the lights in conclusion.  You are welcome to stay, gather, and connect with each other after the ceremony up until 6:00pm.
Everyone is welcome.  Please, no open flames allowed in the building.  Although it is not expected, you are encouraged to bring an alternative lighting source such as battery-operated candles, small flashlights – or just use your cell phone.
