Laura Bailey will lead the session called Visual Spark: A Right Brain Boost for Character or Plot
Use a creative process borrowed from the fine arts community to generate inspiration that will enrich a character or untangle a messy plot point. We’ll use collage and free association as a base for attacking whatever needs special attention in an ongoing piece, whether nonfiction or fiction, prose or poetry.
People are invited to bring their lunch with them and stay afterwards to talk a bit about tools like this that use art or movement as jumping-off places for writing.
