Candace Kramer

Candace Kramer (Manzanita) has a background as a designer for Neil Kelly Remodelers in Portland and for the past 16 yrs she has worked for Windermere Realty Trust as a Broker. As part of the Build Small Live Large Community, she has lectured and assisted her clients on living small and sustainably.

In 2006 Candace and her husband restored a 1940’s cottage that was built by a Norwegian Shipbuilder in Manzanita. The cottage was donated for visiting writers to stay for the Hoffman’s popular Writers Lecture Series. It was also a hub for summer writing workshops held by author Jennifer Lauck.

Candace spearheaded the Ski to Defeat ALS program while serving as a board member for ALS from 2013 to 2015. She launched a program for AARP Neighborhood Walks from 2012 to 2015. Candace and her husband have volunteered on ten Global Habitat for Humanity home building trips.

Fun Fact:  Candace was a classically trained ballet dancer for 10 years and had the opportunity to spend a summer at Joffrey Ballet in New York City. That summer she discovered her legs needed to be three feet longer!
