Updated News About Hoffman Activities

Based on evolving recommendations from the CDC and other public health experts, the Hoffman Center for the Arts has cancelled or rescheduled many of our events.

Overview of Cancellations by Program (click on links for more specifics)

  • Art of Aging and Art of Dying have cancelled all events through the end of April.
  • The Clay Studio has cancelled open studio hours through end of April.
  • The March 27th Film screening has been cancelled.
  • The Hoffman Gallery is closed through the end of April. Individual appointments to visit the gallery are possible.
  • The Terry Robb concert on April 11 will no longer be held at the Hoffman.  Another venue is being sought.
  • The Visual Arts Cold Wax & Oil Painting on March 28-29 and April 4-5 are cancelled. Others may be re-located to a larger venue to allow for more space between students.  Check the Registration page under Visual Arts for specific information on individual classes.
  • Manzanita Writers Series Word & Image call for submissions
    All other Writing Program activities have been cancelled through the end of April.

This list of cancelled events is as of March 25th.  As the situation evolves, we will continue to update our web site for any further changes. Please check our calendar.  Please do not call our phone number, as that is only periodically monitored for messages.
