Horticulture and garden program

The Wonder Garden started as an empty city lot. Today it’s a flourishing public garden across the street from the Hoffman Center for the Arts.

It’s a place to wander, to learn, and to get your hands in the soil. Through the seasons, the garden hosts workshops, volunteer days, and gatherings that bring neighbors and visitors together.

Where creativity takes root

This is a working garden shaped by the people who tend it, with art tucked among the beds and quiet corners to sit and watch the light change. It looks different every month of the year. Come to plant, come to learn, or come to slow down for an afternoon. Everyone’s welcome!

The garden is built and cared for by volunteers, and there’s always room for more hands. Join us for a volunteer day, sign up for a workshop, or just stop by during open hours to see what’s growing.
