Annual Community Art Show~Scarlet

Artists get to work! We invite full or part time residents from Tillamook or Clatsop County to participate in the 2023 Hoffman Community Art Show. Now in the 7th year, the theme for 2023 is “Scarlet.”

• Art should reflect your interpretation of the theme “Scarlet.” We encourage fun, tongue in cheek, or eye-winking art. Have fun! Your piece must somehow include the color Scarlet
• We encourage diverse media: paintings, prints, collage, textiles, metals, wood, ceramics, writing, etc.
• Size limitations: 2D/Wall Art and 3D/Sculpture not to exceed 325 sq. inches. For those of us who don’t love math, this is the widest point multiplied by the tallest point including the frame. For example, 20 x 15, or 16 x 18 or 30 x 10
• Artwork must be made within the past two years and not previously exhibited at the Hoffman Gallery
• Art, including writing, must have good quality hanging or displaying hardware-ready for installation
• One piece per artist
• We prefer the art be for sale to help contribute to the costs of hosting this exhibit but this is not a requirement. If sold, the artist is paid 70% of sale price
• Please observe these guidelines before bringing art to the gallery
• Art Due January 3 and 4, 2023 | 2:00-4:00 pm
• There will be an opening reception party on January 7 from 2-4 to which the entire community is invited
• The exhibit will run through January 28
