The Magic of Multiples: Mobiles and Installations— A Mixed Media Approach with Kathy Karbo
June 21 and 22 | 10:00am-4:00pm
Hoffman Center for the Arts | 594 Laneda Avenue | Manzanita
You will discover the alchemy of multiples when your pieces constructed of painted papers, beautiful fibers, and metal, dance with the shadows and light.
We transform simple papers as we paint with abandon!
We explore color, texture and pattern with stencils, punches and printmaking techniques.
We fold and sew basic book structures for the foundation of your mobile or installation,
We embellish with collage, fabulous threads and yarns, found objects and copper wire.
Then we assemble, edit, reconfigure, and enjoy!
Come ready to be inspired, to experiment and PLAY!
