Tuition: $125 (all supplies included) Hoffman Center for the Arts | 594 Laneda Avenue | Manzanita
Printmaking with Plants
This class will introduce you to the technique of monoprinting using plant material (leaves, weeds, grasses, etc.) as the raw material in the process of creating interesting and compelling printed images.
You will learn how to use a printing press, manage inks, prepare paper, and create prints.
We will be printing on collage papers that you make, with the option of enhancing your work with watercolor, if desired, then using these prints to create a set of greeting cards on pre-made cards (envelopes provided).
This is a beginner-friendly, hand-on studio workshop. You do not need to have any drawing skills to achieve success. Simply bring your enthusiasm! This will be a good opportunity to make hand-made holiday cards.
