Visualization Prompt Writing Workshop
Join us for a Creative Visualization Writing Workshop, where we’ll explore how guided visualization meditation can unlock creativity and inspire deeper storytelling. Through a series of visualization exercises—starting with a brief practice and building into longer, more reflective sessions—we’ll use stillness and imagination to generate fresh writing ideas. There will be dedicated time for writing, sharing, and discussion, creating a collaborative space for creative exploration. Whether you’re looking to break through writer’s block or bring more mindfulness into your creative process, this workshop offers tools and techniques to refresh and renew your writing practice. All levels of experience are welcome!

About the Instructors
James Lewis Tucker holds a BFA in Printmaking from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore. In 2013, he founded The Aesthetic Union, a letterpress print shop and gallery in San Francisco’s Mission District that quickly became a vital hub for art, collaboration, and the city’s creative community. Tucker’s work, which has long traversed the realms of printmaking, design, and poetry, was deeply intertwined with the cultural fabric of San Francisco for over a decade. In 2023, after selling the shop to his former employees, he relocated to Sonoma County, where he continues to pursue his artistic practice. In addition to leading mindfulness workshops and Zen meditation groups, Tucker teaches letterpress workshops at North Bay Letterpress Arts, where he also serves on the board. He is renowned for his extensive catalog of woodblock print landscapes and his published poetry books, further solidifying his dual practice as an artist and writer.
