Wheel Class Clinic

This 4-part workshop is designed for anyone interested in learning to throw on the potter’s wheel or perhaps restart their throwing practice. The format will be a combination of instruction and hands-on practice. The small class size provides maximum time for one-on-one coaching, practice and support. One Day-Pass session each week is also included in the materials fee to allow independent practice throughout the month.
About the Instructor
Janice Gaines-Ehlen became passionate about clay in 2017 while still working as a fitness trainer and massage therapist. After selling her business in 2021, she applied her life-long habits of laser focus, hard work and lots of practice to fully embrace ceramics. She now throws on the wheel, does hand-building of all types and enjoys sharing the joy of ceramics with others. Students from past classes praise her ability to assess and coach students – regardless of their experience level – to improve technique and more fully enjoy ceramic arts.
