Huzzah!
A generous donation of $1,800 just arrived from Living Room Realty of Manzanita. Beginning in January of 2019, Living Room Realty in Manzanita named the Hoffman Center for the Arts their “Loving Room Fund” recipient. Since then, Living Room Realty has donated a quarterly percentage of their sales to support the Hoffman Center for the Arts. Their investment in this community speaks volumes. When you see them, let realtors Dave Leach, Tosha Reinmiller, and Hans Tonjes know how much you value their investment back into this community.
Applause!
The Manzanita home goods store Finnesterre recently hosted backyard music concerts and made the Hoffman Center scholarship fund a special beneficiary. Partners Fred Kassab, Matt Gray, Terri Desaro, (who also serves on the Hoffman board), and manager Ann Maizel have been stalwart supporters of the art center for many years. Please thank them when you stop into the store.
Standing ovation!
In August, the federal government appropriated monies to a Coronavirus Relief Fund (CARES). This fund was allocated to the states with some of that money dedicated to Arts and Culture. Through the Oregon Cultural Trust a portion of the funds was granted to county cultural organizations including ours, the Tillamook County Cultural Coalition. In our county, 11 organizations were awarded grants including the Hoffman Center for the Arts visit Tillamook County Grant Recipients
Encore!
Oregonians who give to any 501c3 nonprofit arts, heritage, or humanities organization and also donate to the Oregon Cultural Trust receive 100% of their donation to the trust as a tax credit. This is a great way to really support arts and culture throughout our state. We have been recipients of their small operating grants in the past. For more details about how this works and the limits per household, visit Oregon Cultural Trust. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to participate.
Thank you from the Hoffman Center for the Arts.
Sincerely, Mary Roberts
President of the Board
