It’s Time for the Animals Among Us to Take Center Stage!
As summer brings all manner of adventures & playful pursuits, our thoughts turn to … our PETS! It’s time to sharpen pencils and dig up memories and tell us stories … stories of finding them or losing them, funny stories and poignant ones, odes to faithful pups and vignettes of chaotic kittens. Tell us of a clever bird or a contemplative iguana. We want to meet your pets!!
Our theme for COMMUNITY WRITES for July, August, and September is PETS … so send us your poetry, essay, fiction, or memoir — 800 words or less on whatever aspect most strikes you when you think of your furry, feathered, scaled, or skinned companion. Joyful, poignant, or funny — we’re panting with excitement for all of it!!
