About the Scholarship Program

We are pleased to offer scholarships to individuals who require financial assistance to participate in classes, workshops, and events at Hoffman Center for the Arts. Our staff and Board are committed to making Hoffman a welcome place for all. Scholarship funding is provided by generous donations from our community, and by the Kathleen Ryan Memorial Fund established in 2016.

Parameters and Eligibility
Applicants may request funds to cover partial or entire cost of a class, workshop, or event. Scholarships cover tuition only. Any other costs, such as materials, travel, accommodations, and meals, are not covered.

Awards are limited to one per person per calendar year. 

Preference is given to our community who reside on the North Oregon Coast and those from historically underrepresented backgrounds. 

Applicants must submit a completed scholarship application form at least 7 business days prior to the start of the class, workshop, or event. We accept applications on a rolling basis and will continue as funds are available.
