and the Search for Your Authentic Voice

Artist David Cohen, whose work is featured in September’s gallery exhibition, will talk about his artistic journey and how it is intricately interwoven with his ongoing efforts towards self-discovery. Rolled into that story is the reemergence of his passion for and commitment to art-making after a 25-year hiatus, while on a personal quest to more fully understand the meaning of authenticity. David will tie this story to the evolution of his artistic ideas, themes and processes, and discuss those issues as they pertain to the artwork in the current exhibition.
