This course is suitable for beginners and those wanting to learn new techniques as well.

Workshop/Lecture description:
This workshop provides an introduction to glazing basics, supplies and methods as well as an exploration of a wide variety of design and glazing techniques such as use of underglazes, stains, wax resist, slip, trailing, sgraffito, and stenciling

Instructor:
Kathleen Kanas is a life-long creative known for both her baskets and ceramics works.  Her style and variety of decorating techniques continue to evolve and are always a visual treat.  She is owner and primary artist at 4th Street Gallery in Manzanita.
