Our stimulating two-day course will provide individual attention to students on a project they will complete by the end of class. This class is designed for people who are complete beginners and for those with some experience who want to learn the basics of mosaic making while having a great time.
You will create a small mosaic piece. All materials will be supplied, and necessary tools will be available for use in class. This Mosaics 101 course covers stained glass and ceramic tile mosaic making: using the direct method of cut-glass mosaic – including how to use a variety of mosaic making tools – how to cut and lay ceramic and glass vitreous tiles – how to grout and complete your mosaic.
Work with internationally trained artist, Aja Ngo, at the Hoffman Center for the Arts for a fun, challenging, and creative workshop.
