Hoffman Center Wonder Garden
The Hoffman Center follows the current CDC, State of Oregon and
City of Manzanita Covid guidelines for all in-person workshops and events.
Leave the walls of your home behind and step into the Wonder Garden, a botanic playground, to learn about composition, interpreting what you see. Experience painting with the ephemeral qualities of sunlight. Some watercolor experience is preferred.
Carolyn has been working in watercolor for several years, and the qualities that characterize her work are intense color and compositions that explore the relationships of shapes and patterns. Thus, her work investigates beauty and color. In doing, she hopes to discover the interplay between the ordinary and extraordinary.
Carolyn studied studio art at Mira Costa College in Oceanside, California, and watercolor painting at Lane Community College in Eugene, Oregon. She has studied watercolor with Carol Carter, Satoko Motouji, and Judy Morris. She is currently a member of the Watercolor Society of Oregon. For more information and to view her work click here
