Garden Mosaic

Come and create a beautiful and durable glass mosaic suitable for enhancing your outdoor spaces. The instructor will provide a design template and all of the tools, materials, adhesives, and substrates. In this two-day workshop you will learn about the appropriate tools to use, glass cutting and grout techniques, and how to make a mosaic durable for outdoor use. You will create a finished piece that can be displayed in your garden.

In addition to the workshop, join us at the Hoffman Center to hear the artist discuss her recent studies in contemporary mosaics on September 20, at 5:30pm.

 About Aja
Aja Ngo is a public and studio artist based in Portland and Nehalem, Oregon. She has been creating mosaic art for 12 years .

Aja studied classical mosaic in Ravenna, Italy and currently studies contemporary mosaic in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 2020, her work was included in the Arts in Embassies program sponsored by the U.S. Department of State. Additionally, her art is found in private collections in Oregon and
Washington States.
