4-Part Wheel Throwing Course

We’re adding this second class, because the first one filled up so fast

The Hoffman Clay Studio is pleased to offer a 4-part wheel throwing course.  This course will cover wedging, centering clay, basic forms, trimming, attaching handles, glazing, and finishing.

If you’ve ever wanted to see your pot from start to finish, this course is for you!  Perfect for all levels from beginners to those needing a refresh.

Instruction, by local potter Tara Spires-Bell, will include demos and practice time with individual student coaching during class.

Classes are Tuesday afternoons.  The first class, on October 4 runs from 4:30 to 7:30 pm. Classes on October 11, 18 and 25  are from 4:30-6:30pm.

 

The cost of the class is $250 which includes use of the studio tools and firing.  There is a $25 materials fee to cover clay and glazes.
