Beyond Beginner – Wheel Class

Pre-requisites:  Completion of a basic wheel course or equivalent. Participants must be able to center and throw vessels like a cylinder.

This 5-week class will help you reach the next level in your wheel throwing.  Along with perfecting your centering, you will explore a variety of shapes, including bowls and other unique forms, and practice the art of trimming to make your pieces shine.

The small class size provides maximum time for 1:1 coaching and practice.

Instructor Janice Gaines-Ehlen
Janice became passionate about clay in 2017.  After selling her business in 2021, she applied her life-long habits of laser-focus, hard work and lots of practice to fully embrace ceramics.  She now throws on the wheel, does hand-building of all types and enjoys sharing the joy of ceramics with others.
