Join Janice Gaines-Ehlen in creating whimsical figures – people, animals or imaginary creatures in clay.
Use a variety of hand building techniques including coils, slabs and free-form sculpting.
Just bring your imagination! We provide the clay, tools, firings and glazes. We also include one Day Pass so you can continue to work on your pieces between classes.
Enjoy three classes from 1 – 4 pm on:
April 12 – Explore the craft of hand building clay to create several creatures of your choosing
April 19 – Trim and decorate your creatures with texture and underglazes after which they undergo their
first kiln firing
April 26 – Complete decorating and apply final glazes
Cost: $150 plus $25 material fee; class registration fee includes one Day Pass to continue work I the studio.
