September 2021 News Update

Dear Community,

It ain’t over til it’s over! And it ain’t over yet.

On this date exactly a year ago, we described the virtual offerings we put in place “to get us through” the pandemic. Now, 365 days later, we are again restricted to online activities and those we can locate outside in the Wonder Garden.

Public safety continues to be our utmost concern. Until the State of Oregon and local jurisdictions give us the green light to assemble safely indoors in greater numbers, we continue to find ways to serve you through virtual and outdoor events.

Right now, you can pop into the gallery for a free, creative shot in the arm Thursdays through Sundays between 1 and 5pm (September Gallery Show). Visit the Wonder Garden on September 4 at 10am to hear Mark Beach talk about his latest book Images of America: Manzanita, Nehalem, and Wheeler. ( Mark Beach Author). Potters may also drop off ceramics to be fired through our kiln service on Wednesdays between 10-12. See the info at the bottom of this page Clay Studio.

For many other delightful offerings in writing and visual arts, peruse the tiles of the newsletter and click for more information.

Attention Artists!

From Sept. 1 through Oct. 15, 2021, we invite you to submit to show your work in the Hoffman Gallery during 2022.
Click here to check out the submission process.

On behalf of all of us at the Hoffman Center – we hope you mask, vaccinate, distance, create, and explore!
